Getting There
Getting There from N.E. Man on Vimeo.
This is a video from last winter. Most of the clips are of Zach and the epic return of Scott. I have a few clips in there, along with Austin, Josh, Duce, John Urb and Jason. I actually made this video a few months ago, but it is more recent than Good Ole Days. I called it Getting There because it was one of my favorite short edits that I have made yet. Even though I only edit with Movie Maker, the videos still come out ok. Especially for bmx videos, they dont need to be edited with a super high quality editing software because its only bmx.

Fix Gear Craze

I dont know if anyone who doesnt live in Walnut Creek or San Francisco has noticed the increasing amount of people riding fixed gear bikes. This idea of sell your car any buy a fixed gear is a very funny trend in my eyes because it seriously took only a month for this trend to explode last winter. Fixed gears are extremely fun to ride and im not going to lie, one can fuckin mash on a fixed gear. The only reason why I dont have one is because I live on the very end of town and its been 90 plus degrees every day. Maybe I am just a lazy ass bmx rider who drives to spots to ride.
One thing is that where I live in WC is that every thing is so far away that a car is basically needed. BART is 25 minutes away to drive and it's a pain in the ass to ride a bmx all the way over there.
San Francisco on the other hand, bike is the fastest way to get around there. There is nothing more thrilling than mashing the streets of SF on a brakeless bmx flying past cars trying to keep up with the fixed gear riders. One last shout out to San Francisco and thats I fucking love it and its bike friendly atmosphere.
Sean Burns in Dead Bang
Sean Burns's part in Dead Bang was one of the best parts that I have seen in a long time. All bangers no filler clips. Duce put it best about Mr. Burns "Its like he just does stuff that you learn when you just start riding and apply it to bigger things." Straight up toothpicks down rails look so fucking sick. I wounder why I always get hurt when I try semi big shit.

Still have no clue what is wrong with my knee

I just got an MRI and have the pictures of the inside of my knee now. The MRI machine is the gnarliest machine that I have ever been inside. I still dont know if I tore anything, so now I have to see the doctor again so that she can tell me what I did.
As far as the healing has gone- it feels somewhat better, but whenever I try to run the slightest bit, it feels like it pops out again. Many people who I have talked to said that it is very likely that it could be an acl tear and I am hoping that it isnt. One more week of not knowing and it doesnt look like I will be getting on my bike any time soon at all.
Most riders who I have talked to about acl injuries say that it took over a year after surgery for their knees to fully heal. If that is the case then this is going to be a very boring year. If anyone reads this who can relate to knee injuries please say something here.
A few more photos

These are a few more pictures that I didnt have time to upload yesterday.
The first two are of Austin at Fairfeild Park and Walnut Creek Park. Austin rides tranny really well and flows WC park like it aint no thang.
Zach did this random 180 table top up the euro at WC. Bad angle on the cammera though but(no pun intended) cool trick.
This is just one of me doing one of my favorite tricks ever in the best bowl in the world. Riders from around the bay, you all should come ride out here more often. Once summer starts to end there will be less skaters and bladders at the park and less snakeing.
One thing that I noticed a week ago at the park was that there are way more bikers in the WC are now which is unbeleivable. I never thought that I would see the day when WC actually has a scene of bmxers. And convieniently enough I happen to hurt myself so bad that I cant ride for a while. I hate how that works out in my case, but I am stoked to see more kids and OGs riding.

Random bmx photos

The first two pictures are Josh Baty riding Jeremy's ramp. Most times when I go riding with him he will ask "Dude! lets see if we can ride Jeremy's ramp! We never get to ride there." That day we were fortunate enough to ride that ramp and Josh proceeded to kill that ramp. I dont know why we dont ride there more often.
Scott has the shaddiest bike in the world. But he can ride any bike and make it look good. 666 you christian mother fuckers!
Josh Gray doing a trick that he does best. He does have some of the best tables in the area and this one is no exception.
Jason has tailwips on lock now. He has been a destroyer since day one......I dont mean the battle ship though. hahaha ha hahaha ha. If you watch South Park youd get that.
Might as well start out with my latest edit
Here is a few clips from a few years ago. This video is called Good Ole Days.
